OfficeBox for Windows
We are well aware of the many businesses who have invested heavily in Microsoft Windows software and want to fully realize that investment, we are also aware of those who want to break the "lock-ins" they are suffering from such an investment and would like to break from that. The challenge we faced was designing a solution that could fully inter-operate with MS-Windows but was not dependant on it, and a large part of that is officeBox for Windows. The fatures of this are:
- It consists of (the bulk of) OfficeBox software running as native Windows executables
- Runs on Microsoft Windows 2000 and later
- Can read and write MS-Office files
- Inter-operates seamlessly with the OfficeBox infrastructure
- Can act as a "thin client" to stations if required
